Short description

Phormium Golden Sword, commonly known as ‘New Zealand Flax’, is an upright, clump forming, evergreen perennial.  Its arching, sword-like shaped, leathery looking leaves are variegated with yellow centres that fade lightly into a golden green towards the edge.   Occasionally they have a pinkish hue which makes this an ideal structural/statement evergreen for the shrub border, equally suitable as a patio or container plant.
